The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends yellow fever vaccination for all international travellers aged nine months and above travelling to Nigeria. In line with this guidance, Nigeria requires all travellers aged nine months or older to present a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate as a mandatory condition for entry into the country. Travellers are advised to ensure that the vaccination is administered at an approved centre and that the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) is obtained prior to travel to avoid delays or denial of entry at ports of arrival.
